The Saint-Jacques Church is a Gothic-style parish Catholic church located in Compiègne. In 1998, it was inscribed on the world heritage list by UNESCO under the paths of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle in France. The building is magnificent which is worth the detour. The church comes from two distinct periods, built in the 13th century. This historic monument was finalized in the 16th century. The interior of the church is marked by a marble coating and a covering of the pillars of the nave by woodwork.
